42 years old female patient came with a large infected ulcer on right foot with signs of post thrombotic syndrome. Duplex scan showed SFJ and perforators in competence along with post –thrombotic status. She was managed conservatively with velfour (4-Layer) dressings. These dressings provided required pressure for the venous ulcer to heal . The ulcer showed drastic   improvement with dressings and healed  within 5 months.
