A 49 years old male patient came to us with non healing ulcer of right leg since past 7 years. The ulcer was markedly infected and on examination he had large varicose veins. Duplex scan showed dilated long saphenous vein  with multiple incompetent perforators. Patient was posted for endovenous laser treatment as soon as the infection settled. The ulcer responded amazingly after EVLT and velfour dressings and subsequently healed very soon.
